2016 Bible Reading Marathon at the Iowa State Capitol

History in the Making!

A Bible Reading Marathon was organized at the State Capitol building January 4-12 by Ginny Caligiuri, Director of the Iowa State Prayer Caucus Network. New Hope signed up for one of their 2 hr slots making up the 80 hrs of reading the entire Bible aloud from beginning to end from a podium in the Rotunda. What an incredible experience and awesome privilege to be a part of! You could feel God’s presence and Him directing every piece of it—right down to what Scripture each person ended up reading. It was amazing! Pray for Ginny Caligiuri as she works toward taking this idea to all 50 states!
